How to Enter No purchase is necessary. All entries become the property of FilmCan, and will not be returned or acknowledged. To be eligible, entries must be received by FilmCan. by no later than March 3, 2000 at midnight Eastern Standard Time

Who Can Enter The Online Contest is only open to legal residents of Canada except Quebec. Litigation involving Quebec residents respecting the conduct of the contest and the awarding of any prize may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux. The Online Contest is not open to employees of FilmCan, and its affiliated companies, its advertising and promotion agencies, or its other representatives or agents, or members of the respective immediate families of those employees, or anyone with whom any of those employees are domiciled.

Prizes One (1) winner will receive an RCA DVD Player (Model #5220). The prize is subject to availability, and FilmCan reserves the right to make a substitution of equal or greater value. Ten (10) winners will receive a FilmCan promotional T-Shirt Ten (10) winners will receive double movies passes to a cinema local to them. Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash value.

The Draws The Contest will run from February 7, 2000 to March 3, 2000. Grand Prize: A random draw will be made at FilmCan's head office in Ottawa, Ontario on or about March 10, 2000 from all eligible entries received on or before March 3, 2000, midnight Eastern Standard Time. Weekly Prizes: A random draw, from all eligible entries received, will be made at FilmCan's head office in Ottawa, Ontario as follows: February 13 FilmCan T-Shirts - 5 Winners February 20 Double Movie Passes - 5 Winners February 27 FilmCan T-Shirts - 5 Winners Following the draws, the selected entrant will be contacted by email. If the selected entrant does not respond to the prize notification within 7 days, or does not comply with these Contest Rules, the prize will be automatically forfeited and another entrant will be selected by random draw. The chances of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

How to Win To win, the selected entrant, or if a minor their legal parent or guardian, must have complied with these contest rules. The selected entrant may also be required to submit valid proof of identity, and answer a time-limited skill testing question. The selected entrant, or if a minor their legal parent or guardian, may be required to sign a declaration of compliance with the Contest Rules, a release of FilmCan, and its affiliated companies of any and all liability in connection with the contest and any prize won. Prizes claimed by those under the legal age of majority in their province of residence will be awarded in the name of their legal parent or guardian, who must sign the declaration of compliance, release and consent on their own behalf and on behalf of the minor.

Other Rules FilmCan and its affiliated companies are not responsible for any lost, damaged, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries, regardless of the cause, or for any failure for any reason whatsoever of the selected entrant to receive a prize notification email, or for human error or any computer, online, telephone, or technical malfunctions that may occur. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected. Decisions of the Contest Judges are final and binding on all entrants. Participation in the Contest constitutes acceptance and agreement to these Contest Rules FilmCan reserves the right, at its option, to publish the winner's name, address, photograph likeness, voice or statements without any further compensation to the winner.
