We Have a Pope Overview

A Pope who has been newly elected, suffers a panic attack just before he's scheduled to appear on St Peter's balcony to greet the people who have been patiently awaiting the conclave's decision as to who will be named pope.

When his advisors can't convince him he's the right man for the job, they seek help from a renowned psychoanalyst, who also happens to be an atheist. But the new pope's fear of the responsibility that has been placed upon him is something he has to come to terms with on his own.
