    Jojo Rabbit

Monday, November 18, 2019 12:03:28 PM | (Age Not Specified)

It's natural for people to joke and parody the very things that scare us the most, or to ridicule the vilest of people. And that is precisely what JoJo Rabbit does so well. From the opening to a German version of "A Hard Day's Night", accompanied by archival footage of throngs of people screaming at Hitler, you know you're in for a lot of fun. The film doesn't try to minimize the true horror of WWII, nor does it try to get into the Holocaust. Instead, it focuses on the last year of the war in Germany, as seen through the eyes of a 10 year-old boy, who is surrounded by discouraged soldiers, Germans who long for the war to end and children being encouraged to "die for Hitler". In other words, it's the theater of the absurd. And this is why, Jojo's imaginary playmate - an incredibly animated version of Hitler - fits right in. Don't look for any deep meanings here. This is simply a boy trying to make sense of the nonsensical.

    Terminator: Dark Fate

Monday, November 18, 2019 11:50:49 AM | (Age Not Specified)

I read the bad reviews for this movie and considered to not go. Possibly because I am older I went with expectations based on the original. It was a very enjoyable, entertaining, action packed movie with excellent special effects. Possibly reviews should be categorized by age group as I can fully understand younger viewers would have different expectations of the movie if they only heard of the original their parents or grandparents loved many years ago. There is nothing wrong with the movie. It was exactly as expected and I fully enjoyed the ride. If you are over 40 and thinking about it, just go see it with the expectations it will be similar to T2 and you will be satisfied. Thanks.

How in the World did Charlie's Angels go from Farrah, one of the most Beautiful Women that ever lived...to a Bart Simpson looking transgender.

    The Irishman

VERY interesting! If you like learning about the 1960;s & 1970's style gang land mob history this is a great movie. The acting is stellar - all of them! The story in historically interesting ... although very long (3+ hrs) it's well worth the time. I would highly recommend this movie.

    Ford v Ferrari

Monday, November 18, 2019 12:03:12 AM | (Age Not Specified)

4.5 stars. Worth going to the theatre for. Great acting, great story. My only criticism (and it wasn’t a big deal) would be the portrayal of the racing itself. A bit too fast n furious. Other than that it was great.

    Ford v Ferrari

What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? that Henry Ford II in a nut shell, if this is accurate to the story then he was a wicked evil person, and screwed around with Carol Shelby, so this is a excellent movie that i have seen in years and other great movie from director James Mangold, but this is not a feel good movie but done very well, would see it again
